Benevis, a leading dental healthcare and orthodontics delivery organization committed to providing quality care to underserved communities, hosts an annual Sharing Smiles Day each May to provide free dental care and education at many of its offices nationwide. In 2024, the event was held at 21 Benevis-supported practices across 13 states. To encourage enrollment in the event and garner positive media coverage, SVM conducts focused media pitching in each of the three states. In addition to a national press release for Benevis, SVM customizes press releases for each state and then conducts pre- and post-event media outreach in all relevant media markets, which can be multiple media markets per state. The efforts resulted in positive media coverage in multiple media markets including Baltimore; El Paso; Houston; Providence, RI; San Antonio; and Virginia Beach, among others.
